Job Title: Classroom Aide

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Classroom Aide to work in an elementary classroom and provide support to the classroom teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with classroom activities and supporting students’ academic and social-emotional growth.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the classroom teacher in preparing lesson materials and setting up the classroom
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts and provide extra support
• Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, and field trips
• Help maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
• Assist with record-keeping, grading, and other administrative tasks as needed
• Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the school
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Candidates with college degrees may have opportunities to progress to higher teacher positions
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Working Conditions:

Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and passionate Part-Time Art Teacher to join our school and inspire elementary and middle school students in their artistic expression. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of various art forms, techniques, and art history, and will be able to foster a love for art while developing students’ skills and creativity.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging art lessons to elementary and middle school students that align with the curriculum and educational standards
• Teach various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, and mixed media
• Introduce students to art history, different artistic styles, and famous artists, fostering their appreciation for the arts
• Encourage students to explore their creativity, experiment with different materials, and develop their artistic skills
• Provide guidance and support to students, giving constructive feedback to help them improve their artwork
• Manage and organize art supplies and materials, ensuring a safe and well-equipped art classroom
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art across the curriculum, reinforcing cross-disciplinary learning experiences
• Display and showcase student artwork throughout the school, organizing art exhibitions or presentations
• Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, upcoming projects, and art-related events
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field preferred
• Previous experience teaching art to elementary and/or middle school students
• Proficiency in various art techniques and mediums, with a strong foundation in drawing and painting
• Knowledge of art history, art theory, and contemporary art trends
• Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate art lessons and projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students

The successful candidate will have a passion for music, experience working with adolescent students, and the ability to cultivate a love for singing and musical expression.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct choir rehearsals for middle school students, focusing on vocal technique, musicianship, and ensemble skills
• Select appropriate repertoire that challenges and engages students, including a variety of musical styles and genres
• Teach students how to read sheet music, interpret musical notation, and understand basic music theory concepts
• Develop and implement warm-up exercises and vocal exercises to improve students’ vocal range, tone quality, and pitch accuracy
• Prepare students for performances, including concerts, competitions, and community events
• Collaborate with other music teachers and school staff to coordinate performances and musical events
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes teamwork, discipline, and a love for music
• Provide guidance and support to students, offering constructive feedback and individualized instruction to help them grow as musicians
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding choir activities, upcoming performances, and student progress
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Vocal Performance, or a related field preferred
• Previous experience teaching choral music
• Strong knowledge of vocal techniques and choral pedagogy
• Ability to teach students how to read sheet music and understand basic music theory concepts
• Excellent conducting skills and ability to lead a choir effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with choral repertoire suitable for middle school choirs
• Experience in preparing students for performances and competitions is an asset
Working Conditions:
• Part-time position consisting of approximately two hours per week (specific days and hours to be determined)
• Rehearsals may take place during regular school hours or after school, depending on the school’s schedule
• May require occasional attendance at school events or performances outside regular working hours

We are seeking a reliable and organized School Office Assistant to provide administrative support to our school’s administrative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our school’s office.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome visitors to the school office in a professional and friendly manner
• Respond to phone calls and emails from parents, students, and staff in a timely and courteous manner
• Assist in maintaining student files and records
• Assist in the organization of school events and activities
• Assist in the processing of purchase orders and invoices
• Provide administrative support to the school’s administrative team as required
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Google Suite
• Previous administrative experience is an asset
• Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
• Experience with Quickbooks is an asset
Working Conditions:
• Office environment
• May require some lifting of boxes and packages
• Regular working hours are from 8:00-12:00, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as needed
